According to Variety , Steven Spielberg and Stephen King are teaming up to bring the author's recent novel, "Under the Dome," to the small screen.
DreamWorks TV has optioned the book and will possibly create a cable series based on it.
With the two Steve's teaming up on a project this series might be epic.

There is nothing remotely scary about the beige library in the Soho Hotel.

Yet towards the end of a low-key interview with Oren Peli, who's in London for less than 24 hours to promote his smash-hit low-budget horror flick Paranormal Activity , there's a loud creak in the corner of the room and I find myself leaping out of the armchair.

Stephen King is currently making the promotional rounds for his new, phonebook-sized novel " Under the Dome " (we just started it and it's fucking fantastic), and while on tour for the book he had mentioned that it was being developed as an HBO miniseries.
Well, today comes word that none other than Steven Spielberg will be executive producing the "limited series" which Variety says is "likely for cable," which we hope refers to HBO or Showtime and not Sci- fi (excuse us, Syfy ) or TNT .

Boyle Sets Amazon.com Records: "Britain's Got Talent" contestant Susan Boyle is making sales history with her coming album release "I Dreamed a Dream."
The singer, who became a viral sensation after her rendition of the song "I Dreamed a Dream" from "Les Misérables" hit the Web, has become the top pre-ordered CD on Amazon.com in the U.S. and globally, according to the company.
